A look back

Maryland avoided its first three-game losing streak in nearly three years by erasing a seven-point second-half deficit and defeating Clemson on the road on Sunday, 65-52. Last night, the Terps traveled to Wake Forest and lost, 93-85.

A look ahead The Terps return home on Sunday to face North Carolina State at Comcast Center, then travel to Virginia on Wednesday, before playing host to Florida State on Feb. 8.

By the numbers Senior center Jamar Smith leads the ACC with eight double doubles. In 17 games, Smith has scored in double figures 13 times, including 10 points last night, and grabbed at least 10 rebounds on 11 occasions.
