MRS. HELEN ROBERTS KLANDER, 88 of East Drive, Princeton, died Tuesday evening, January 27, 2004 at the Princeton Community Hospital. Born September 1, 1915 in Jenkins, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Al and Julia Hayes Roberts. Mrs. Klander had been a resident of Princeton for the past 3 years, moving from Baltimore, Maryland. She was a retired Research Analysis for the State of Maryland and was of the Methodist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceased in death by her husband George J.F. Klander along with two brothers, James and Lawrence Roberts. Survivors include; her children, George L. Klander, Robert C. Klander both of Princeton and Julie Charping of Columbia, Maryland. Grandchildren and great granddaughter, Bess and her daughter Milagro of Athens, Lars and Ardyth both of Las Vegas, NV and Jedediah of Baltimore, MD. Brother and sister, Charles Roberts of Lancaster, Ohio and Carrie Nell Nimitz of Houston, Texas. A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Klander will be held 10 A.M. Friday, January 30, 2004, from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Reverend Randy Adkins officiating. The family of Mrs. Klander has honored her request, her body has been cremated. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts of love can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1808 Jefferson St., Bluefield, WV 24701. The family of Mrs. Klander is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
