Councilwoman's car hits restaurant; no one hurt

FALLSTON - No one was injured yesterday during lunchtime when a Harford County councilwoman drove her vehicle through the front window of a seafood restaurant, Harford sheriff's deputies said.

About 12:10 p.m., Veronica Chenowith of the 1900 block of Parkvue Road was attempting to back out of a parking space at Fallston Seafood on Route 152 when her 2002 Ford Explorer went forward instead and into the window, a Northern Precinct duty officer said last night.

Damage estimates were not immediately available, the officer said. Chenowith represents the Fallston area.
