Walker, Patricia Holt

On January 12, 2004, PATRICIA HOLT WALKER has died in Colorado from pneumonia. Married to the late Talbott Hunt Walker, she lived in Ruxton for 50 years before moving to the Aspen Valley in 1995. Patricia graduated from Pomona College as a music major and accomplished pianist, and helped bring music to schools as a board member of Young Audiences. Music was an important part of the many "Koreran Supper Parties" held at her home to raise funds to support a child in Korea. A sailor and owner of "Drumfire", Pat was a member of Potapskurt Sailing Association. She worked for many years for Alexander Baer Associates. Pat was loved and admired by friends and family for her spirit and adventurous approach to life. Born January 18, 1919, she was the loving mother of Hunt, Tottie and Richard Walker of Colorado and Susan Salm of Hawaii. Donations may be made "in her memory of Patricia Holt Walker" to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, 6 Herndon Avenue, Annapolis, Maryland 21403.
