In celebration and memory of CHARLES "CHUCK" GILL, who died on January 14, 2004. A warm, gentle soul with an enormous zest for life and an unrelenting sense of humor. Chuck is survived by Darlene (Lovell) Gill, his wife and best friend of 32 years, daughter Christine, son Sam, daughter-in-law Mandy, grandson "Little Sammy", mother Doris L. Gill , brother Bruce A. Gill and sister Ruth A. Engel. Chuck was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, graduated from New Mexico State University and received his master degree from the University of Florida. Chuck is a decorated Viet Nam Veteran who served his country as a Vietnamese interpreter with the U.S. Army's 25th Infantry Division. Chuck will fondly be remembered as a " court jester" and the"Ambassador od Goodwill" by his colleagues at ITT Industries, Systems Division and a devoted husband, loving father and cherished son, by his family. A Memorial service was held on Sunday January 18, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at Mountain View Mortuary Chapel, 12350 Montebello Sq. Dr. A celebration of Chuck's life will take place at "The Peyton Ranch" immediately following the service.
