The Harford County Sheriff's Office was investigating an armed robbery that occurred this morning at a Bank of America branch in Abingdon, according to authorities.

Deputies were called to the bank at 3488 Emmorton Road in the Constant Friendly Shopping Center just before 9 a.m. this morning, said Lt. James Eyler, a department spokesman. Authorities were seeking two men who fled on foot after robbing the bank, according to Eyler.

At least one of the suspects had a gun, Eyler said. He could not immediately provide a physical description of either suspect.
