On Saturday, January 10, 2004, MRS. BARBARA OFFIT LAZARUS, age 75, a Louisiana, New Orleans resident, formerly of Baltimore, Maryland. Devoted wife of Harry Gradwohl Lazarus; loving mother of Dr. Cathy Jane Lazarus and Jan Lazarus Fisher; sister of Syvan Offit; step sister of S. Murray Miller, Lewis Miller and Beverly Silverman. Also survived by two grand children Stuart Alan Simon and Karen Holly Simon and friend of Judy Miller. She was a graduate of Forest Park High School in Baltimore, MD, a community volunteer and an active volunteer for Touro Infirmary. Services and Internment are private.
