Conference to help women chart course for personal, career success

"Sail Away on the Love Boat ... Chart Your Own Course" is the theme of the annual New Visions for Women conference for women seeking personal and career success. It's to be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 7 in Edgewood Hall on the Harford Community College campus.

Conference participants will choose one morning workshop from topics including "Take This Job and Love It (or Leave It)," "Creating a Sentimental Journey" and "Exploring the Sinking Ship Syndrome." A second morning workshop topic will be selected from "Getting the Knots Out," "Intimacy 24/7" or "Day Trippin' Excursions."

After lunch, participants may select a workshop from topics including "Riding the Wave to Simplicity," "Safe Harbor for Your Investments" or "High Tea at High Tide."

The $27 fee includes continental breakfast, lunch and workshop materials. Preregistration is required.
