CARDINALS: Agreed to three-year contract extension with president Mark Lamping, through 2006. Agreed to one-year contract with P Mike Lincoln.

DEVIL RAYS: Signed free-agent P Danys Baez, who had been with Indians, to two-year, $6.5 million contract. Agreed to one-year, $650,000 contract with P Trever Miller.

DIAMONDBACKS: Agreed to one-year, $1 million contract with former Orioles 2B Roberto Alomar, a free agent who had been with White Sox.

DODGERS: Agreed to minor league contract with P Bill Simas. Agreed to one-year, $1.85 million contract with free-agent OF Bubba Trammell, who had been with Yankees.
