East Columbia
Eden Brooke Drive: 7200 block, Kings Contrivance. A man entered an Exxon gas station, displayed a semiautomatic handgun and demanded money Saturday evening. After taking cash, the robber fled on foot toward Eden Brook Drive.
West Columbia
Trumpeter Road: 5400 block, Wilde Lake. Seven teen-agers on the parking lot of Wilde Lake High School approached two people while they were walking home Dec. 30. One of the teens asked for $1 and one of the two handed him $1 from his wallet. But the teen-ager grabbed the wallet, took $20 and tossed away the billfold. He then punched one of the victims before fleeing.
Columbia Road: 5300 block, Dorsey's Search. Early Dec. 31, someone broke into a home and stole a laptop computer and digital video discs.
Ellicott City/Elkridge
Town & Country Blvd.: 8700 block, Ellicott City. A man with a toy gun approached a person and asked for money about 9:30 p.m. Dec. 29, but the person refused. The man fled.
John Randolph Court: 9600 block, Ellicott City. A woman reported that her daughter was in Centennial Park when she saw a man defecating about 12:30 p.m. Dec. 29.
West Springs Drive: 3100 block, Ellicott City. A motorist got out of his vehicle and was held up by a man displaying a handgun about 9:15 p.m. Dec. 30. The gunman took money and fled on foot.
South Hanover Road: 6200 block, Elkridge. Someone entered the fenced yard of Herr Foods Inc., broke into four trucks parked in the yard and stole food between Dec. 31 and Friday.
Nancy Drive: 7600 block, Elkridge. Someone entered a home and stole electronic equipment, clothes and jewelry between Dec. 24 and 31.
