Lewin C. `Duke' Reihl, 75, carpenter, Army veteran

Lewin C. "Duke" Reihl, a retired carpenter, died Tuesday of acute renal failure at North Arundel Hospital. He was 75 and lived in Pasadena.

Born in Rock Hall, Mr. Reihl served in the Army in Korea and was a carpenter for 30 years with Carpenters Union Local 101, retiring in 1992. He helped to build homes for family and friends.

He enjoyed coin collecting and walking along the beach. He was a member of the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge 1156, the Masonic Lodge 213, and the Stoney Creek and the Magothy River Area Senior Citizens clubs.

Services were yesterday.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, the former Betty L. Stichcomb, a daughter, Nancy Carol Reihl-Riley of Pasadena; a sister, Emily Pumphrey of Severna Park; a brother, Aubrey Reihl of Rock Hall; and a granddaughter.
