A look back

The Terps committed a season-high 24 turnovers, shot poorly at the foul line and spotted Florida State an 18-4 lead before dropping a 79-75 decision in Tallahassee, marking Maryland's first loss of an ACC opener in four years.

A look ahead

Maryland plays host to Mount St. Mary's tomorrow and UMES on Tuesday before resuming its conference schedule eight days later against visiting North Carolina.

By the numbers

Maryland is one of only three schools that have been to the past 10 NCAA tournaments, advanced to seven Sweet 16 rounds and won a national championship during that period. Arizona and Kentucky are the others.
