Mount beaten by Lehigh in 2 OTs, 86-83

Jessica DePalo had 24 points and 14 rebounds, including the go-ahead basket, to lift Lehigh past Mount St. Mary's, 86-83, in double overtime yesterday in the Lehigh Christmas City Classic consolation game.

DePalo made a jump shot at the 4:01 mark in the second overtime and then converted two free throws 17 seconds later to give the Mountain Hawks (2-8) a 78-74 advantage.

Myriam Baccouche led the Mountaineers (2-7) with 23 points and Samira Rashid scored a career-high 21 points.

Navy 79, St. Francis, N.Y. 53: Courtney Davidson scored a game-high 25 points and Abi Campbell added 15 as the Midshipmen improved to 6-6 with a win over the visiting Terriers (1-9).

Adrienne Roseti added 14 points for Navy.
