On December 22, 2003 VICTOR J. MOORE; loving husband of Mary A. Moore (nee Flautt) went to be with our Lord in Heaven. Besides his wife of sixty-nine years he is survived by his sons, John Victor Moore and wife Elvi, Walter Moore and Michael Moore and wife Valerie, one daughter Mary Jane Gulck and husband John. Victor has seven grandchildren, Victor W. Moore, Annette McKenzie, Perry Moore, Kellee Smith, John Gulck, Jr., Melissa and Christopher Moore. He was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Coty McKenzie, Megan Moore and Chandler Gulck. Victor's only brother Edward J. Moore and wife Irene also survive him. Victor worked for the City of Baltimore for almost 50 years and retired on January 5, 1979 as General Superintendent of the Bureau of Solid Waste. He ended his career as a Vice president of the Whiting Turner/Pulaski Company at the youthful age of eighty-six. Friends and family will be received at Harry H. Witzke's Family Funeral Home, Inc., 4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD on Sunday 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Resurrection in Ellicott City on Monday at 10 A.M. Interment will be in Crestlawn Cemetery, Ellicott City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Agnes Hospice.
