Florie W. Bimestefer, 67, real estate agent

Florie W. Bimestefer, who sold real estate, died Sunday of complications from pneumonia at Howard County General Hospital. The Ellicott City resident was 67.

She was born Florie Willis in Wilmington, Del., and raised in Penns Grove, N.J. She was a 1958 graduate of Western Maryland College, now McDaniel College, where she studied home economics. There she met her husband of 45 years, J. William Bimestefer, a retired food broker, who survives her.

She taught in the Carroll County public schools in the early 1960s and for the past 20 years sold real estate in Ellicott City at the Long and Foster Main Street office.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Witzke Family Funeral Home, 4112 Old Columbia Pike.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, James W. Bimstefer of Ellicott City; two sisters, Mary Margaret Wells of San Antonio and Barbara Butler of Millersville; and three grandsons.
