Start to work off those holiday pounds today with one of the Freestate Happy Wanderers' 5K or 10K walks.

Participants can begin the non-competitive event any time between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., but they must finish the walks by 4 p.m.

The events begin and end at the Owen Brown Community Center in Columbia.

Lorraine Bracco sheds -- entirely -- the buttoned-up wardrobe she wears as Dr. Jennifer Melfi on The Sopranos to play Mrs. Robinson in the touring production of The Graduate.

Performances at the Mechanic Theatre start Tuesday and continue through Jan. 18. Jonathan Kaplan stars as Benjamin, and Devon Sorvari is Elaine. Due to some nudity, this show is for mature audiences only.
