TIGERS: Agreed to terms with former Orioles P Jason Johnson on two-year, $7 million contract. Designated P John Ennis for assignment.


GRIZZLIES: Activated F Dahntay Jones from injured list. Placed G Troy Bell on injured list.

KNICKS: Traded F Clarence Weatherspoon to Rockets for G Moochie Norris and F/C John Amaechi. Placed C Michael Doleac (back) and F Michael Sweetney (foot) on injured list.

RAPTORS: Placed F Lamond Murray (back) on injured list. Activated C Mengke Bateer from injured list.

WIZARDS: Activated G Gilbert Arenas from injured list.


CENTRAL MICHIGAN: Named Brian Kelly football coach.
