Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Shooting: A man, 34, was walking in the 1200 block of Darley Ave. about 5:20 a.m. yesterday when an unknown man shot him multiple times in the upper body. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was in critical condition last night.

Southeastern District

Shooting: Police were seeking the occupants of a vehicle who fired more than a dozen shots in the 200 block of N. Caroline St. about 2 a.m. Saturday, one of which struck a woman, 40, in the foot, and another a girl, 14, in the left leg. Both were treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Police were trying to determine whether either victim was an intended target.

Burglary: Video games, DVDs, jewelry and several gold dental caps - all valued at $2,300 - were stolen over the weekend from a house in the 1100 block of S. Linwood Ave.

Southwestern District

Robbery: A man, 44, was walking across a parking lot in the 2300 block of Ashton St. about 6:30 p.m. Saturday when a gunman robbed him of $240.

Stolen vehicle: A 1996 Mazda Protege with tags LGM 482 was stolen from the 2100 block of Garrison Blvd. on Saturday. The keys had been left in the ignition.

Northern District

Robbery: A boy, 16, was walking in the 1100 block of E. Northern Parkway about 10:30 p.m. Saturday when two males, one with a handgun, robbed him of his keys and a cellular phone.

Burglary: A videocassette recorder, video games and a radio - all valued at $415 - were stolen Saturday from a house in the 500 block of E. 39th St.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A man armed with a knife entered the Ramada Inn in the 8700 block of Loch Raven Blvd. about 7:30 a.m. Saturday and said to the desk clerk, "You know the drill." The man then forced the clerk to open the safe and took an undisclosed sum of cash. The clerk told police the man had robbed the motel two months ago.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: A 9 mm Ruger semiautomatic handgun valued at $400 was stolen Saturday from a house in the 600 block of Delaware Ave.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: A Smith & Wesson .38-caliber handgun, a digital camera and coins were stolen Saturday from a house in the 2900 block of Dunbrin Road.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered an apartment in the 2400 block of Chetwood Circle Saturday and stole a DVD player.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: A man, 41, was walking in the 1600 block of Bluffdale Court about 6:30 p.m. Saturday when a gunman robbed him of $150.
