Police made public yesterday the names of three men who were fatally shot Tuesday night within six hours of each other in separate and apparently unrelated incidents.

An arrest was made in one of the slayings, police said.

The latest occurred about 10:45 p.m. when Robert Gregory Green, 33, of the 1800 block of W. Fayette St. was shot in the face outside a house in the first block of S. Fulton Ave. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Less than 10 minutes earlier, officers responding to a shooting at the Windsor Court Apartments in the 2100 block of Garrison Blvd. in Walbrook found the body of Gary Enrico Scaff, 27, of the 300 block of E. North Ave. on a stairway landing. He had been shot in the head.

About 6 p.m., a gunman walked up to Mustafa Shabaze, 36, as he stood in the 3100 block of Normount Ave. near Ellamont Street and shot him in the head and chest. Shabaze, of the 4000 block of Edgewood Road, died a short time later at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

A Woodlawn man was arrested about an hour later in the 3300 block of Presstman St. and charged yesterday with first-degree murder and a handgun violation. Lamont Young, 37, of the first block of Cambridge Court was held without bail at Central Booking and Intake Center, said Sgt. Carl A. Rach of the homicide squad.
