St. Francis trips Mount

St. Francis of New York got 16 points and 11 rebounds from Eric Thompson and used a late 16-7 run to defeat visiting Mount St. Mary's, 75-66, in Northeast Conference play last night. The Mountaineers led 51-50 with 10:37 remaining before St. Francis went on its decisive run that gave the Terriers a 66-58 lead a little more than six minutes later.

Landy Thompson led the Mountaineers (1-8, 0-1 NEC) with 19 points, including 17 in the second half.
