On December 12, 2003, Gudrun M. Tinker (nee Ranft), age 63, at her Edgewood home. "Gerta" came to America from Ilbenstadt, Germany and worked at Bethlehem-Steel before becoming an Accounts Payable Supervisor in the construction industry. She loved visiting Atlantic City and Las Vegas with her husband, the late Lloyd A. Tinker, a decorated World War II veteran. Her ashes will be placed beside her husband's at Arlington National Cemetery. A private memorial gathering is planned. She is survived by her sister Irene Otto of Germany, daughter Barbara Willig of Kingsville, son Robert Eiring of Hamilton, and three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Northern Chesapeake Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 2332, Elkton, MD 21922, or American Cancer Society, 8219 Town Center Drive, Baltimore, MD 21236.
