Cook, Marshall Sylvester

On Wednesday, December 17, 2003, MARSHALL SYLVESTER COOK, age 77 died at home. Born on July 25, 1926 in Baltimore City, he was the son of the late William and Augusta Grouth Cook. He was a retired machinist and buyer for Westinghouse, member of Atlantic United Methodist Church in Ocean City,, The Ocean City Shrine Club, Evergreen Lodge #153 AF&AM in Berlin, Boumi Temple of the Shrine, Salisbury Scottish Rite Bodies, Manokin Chapter #109 O.E.S. in Princess Anne, WWII and Korean War, U.S. Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Delores Miller Cook of Ocean City, two daughters, Carol Marie Cook Ginnavan and her husband Calvin Ginnavan, Jr., of Ocean City and Christine Leslie Cook Millirons and her husband Chris S. Millirons of Finksburg, two grandchildren, Bryan Patrick Ginnanvan and his wife Amy Winters Ginnanvan and Kevin Howard Ginnavan, a sister, Augusta Bertha Garber of Sykesville, a brother, Edward Melvin Cook and his wife Barbara of Virginia Beach, VA, numerous nieces and nephews. A late brother William Albert Cook and sister Betty Lee Etchison. Funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2 P. M at Atlantic United Methodist Church in Ocean City where Masonic Memorial Services will also be conducted. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. Cremation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Boumi Shriners Transportation Fund, 5050 King Avenue, POB 9695, Baltimore, MD, 21237. Arrangements are being handled by Hinman Funerl Home in Princess Anne.
