Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Assault/arrest: A woman who previously had been denied entry to Mondawmin Mall was being escorted out of the mall about 10 a.m. Saturday when she allegedly struck 37-year-old security guard Stacey Sanders in the head, scratched his face and ripped his uniform shirt. Arrested and charged with assault and related offenses and held at Central Booking and Intake Center was Iris Shelton, 49, of the 8000 block of Mollye Road in Pikesville.

Cutting: Harvey Paige, 35, was talking to another man in the 2300 block of Druid Hill Ave. about 2:30 p.m. Saturday when the other man cut him on the head with an unknown sharp weapon. Paige flagged down a police officer, who summoned an ambulance. Paige was in fair condition at Sinai Hospital, and a warrant was issued for the assailant's arrest.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: Several compact discs and a gift card were stolen Saturday from a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta parked in the 600 block of E. Clement St.

Eastern District

Burglary: Five all-terrain vehicles -- all valued at $18,500 -- were stolen from a locker at EZ Storage in the 3800 block of Pulaski Highway between Dec. 1 and Saturday.

Assault: A man, 43, and a woman, 40, were arguing over money in the 1200 block of Greenmount Ave. about 10 p.m. Saturday when the man was stabbed in the back. He was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. A warrant charging the woman with first-degree assault has been issued.

Southwestern District

Stolen vehicle: A deliveryman for Wings, Things and More was delivering a food order in the 4400 block of Cedar Garden Road about 8 p.m. Saturday when an unknown male stole his green 1996 Ford Taurus with New York tags CMW 369.

Baltimore County

Wilkens Precinct

Robbery/arrests: A gunman shot himself in the leg late Saturday during a struggle after robbing the occupant of a house in the 2900 block of McDowell Lane. Police said the gunman and a 13-year-old boy forcibly entered the house in search of drugs about 11:10 p.m. The man was struggling with the victim for control of the gun when it discharged and wounded him in the left leg. Outside the house, the wounded man and the boy were arrested. Treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center and charged with burglary, robbery and assault was Trayvon Scott, 19, of the 4000 block of Alhambra Ave., Baltimore. The boy was charged as a juvenile.

Essex Precinct

Robbery: A man, 24, was walking in the 1600 block of Gail Road about 1:15 a.m. Saturday when two males, one armed with a handgun, demanded his money. When the victim gave the gunman $2, the gunman objected, and threw the money back. The robbers then ordered the victim to remove his coat, hat, shoes and gloves, and told him to run. The man complied, returning later for the items.

North Point Precinct

Assault/arrest: A man, 39, and woman, 41, were outside Ernie's Bar in the 2700 block of North Point Road about 6:30 p.m. Saturday when the man struck the woman in the face. Arrested and charged with assault was David Alderson of the 3100 block of Liberty Parkway.
