Looking for the true meaning of Christmas? You could try going all the way to Bethlehem or, thanks to the Heavenly Dolls Co., maybe pick up the next best thing: a Baby Jesus Doll.

Heavenly Dolls is selling a 13-inch "soft vinyl" replica of the Messiah for $25. The doll comes with a glow-in-the-dark halo and is wrapped in a baby blue blanket.

Heavenly Dolls offers black, Caucasian, Hispanic and Latin versions of the doll. And company founder Rita Webber said she'd be happy to accommodate requests for dolls of other ethnicities.

An additional $24.95 buys an imitation lambswool-lined manger for the doll - so he'll be comfortable.

Amen to that.

Baby Jesus Doll, Heavenly Dolls Company, P.O. Box 621144, Littleton, CO 80162-1144. $25 for the doll; $24.95 for the manger. Shipping and handling not included. Call 800-656-1099 or e-mail: babyjesusdoll@babyjesusdoll.com. Online at www.babyjesusdoll.com.
