Workshops, networking events offer chance to develop strategies for success in new year

As 2003 winds down, the pace of Baltimore business ebbs as well.

But this week offers a wide range of seminars to learn from, chamber meetings to network at and gatherings to attend where you can sow business seeds to be harvested as profits in the new year.

Monday At 9:30 a.m., the Baltimore Small Business Resource Center sponsors a Business Plan Writing Workshop at 3 W. Baltimore St. To register, call 410-605-0990. Walk-ins are welcome.

Join the Baltimore Council on Foreign Affairs in a discussion about "Iraq and the Middle East: Where Do We Go From Here?" The speaker is professor Shibley Telhami, Anwar Sadat Chair, University of Maryland College Park.
