On December 12, 2003, JULIA Y. FIELD, born in Jamestown, Newfoundland, Canada, September 23, 1899. She was a resident of Baltimore for 51 years before moving to Fredericksburg, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Field and one grandson, Dean Johnson. Surviving are one daughter, Lillian E. Johnson; one granddaughter and her husband, Linda and Kenneth Hockaday; one great-grandson and his wife, Kurt and Christy Hockaday, and one great-great-grandson, Caleb Hockaday, all of Fredericksburg, VA; two nephews, Stanley Whelan and Harry Yetman; two great nieces, Deborah Whelan and Lynda Chesbrough; and five great-nephews, Nelson Whelan, Tom Yetman, Larry Yetman, Ronald Yetman and Kevin Yetman. A Funeral will be held at 10 A.M., Monday, December 15, 2003, AT Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with Sam McCracken and Luther Nussbaum officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park, Glen Burnie, MD at 1:30 P.M., with Tim Chung assisting at graveside.
