BLUE JAYS: Agreed to three-year, $13.1 million contract with free-agent P Miguel Batista, who had been with Diamondbacks.

EXPOS: Sold rights to P Julio Manon to Kia of Korean Baseball League.

PHILLIES: Exercised 2005 option on contract of manager Larry Bowa and added club options for 2006 and 2007.
