The Terps had a wild week, getting swept for the first time in the nine-year history of the BB&T Classic with losses to No. 17 Gonzaga and West Virginia, and then winning at No. 1 Florida on Wednesday, 69-68.

A look ahead

The Terps return to Comcast Center on Sunday to play host to Pepperdine, then have a nine-day break for final exams before facing visiting UNC-Greensboro on Dec. 23.

By the numbers

Senior center Jamar Smith has produced six double doubles in Maryland's first seven games. Smith is averaging 17.0 points and 11.3 rebounds.
