NOW OR NEVER

New-age solo pianist George Winston plays a concert with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra coinciding with the release of his 20th-anniversary recording, Winter Into Spring.

The concert is Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, 1212 Cathedral St. Tickets are $28-$48. Call 410-783-8024.

COMING UP

Local song stylist Ruby Glover leads a workshop called Holiday Sing! Saturday from noon to 1:30 p.m. Kids ages 7 to 13 are invited to the free event, at which they will learn the sounds and moods of many instruments, about different styles of music and how to sing as an ensemble.

A professional and high-school choirs will put on a free concert at 3 p.m.
