Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Robberies/arrests: Two men were arrested early Monday on robbery charges in the gunpoint holdup of three customers in a carryout at Paradise Lounge in the 1300 block of Laurens St. After the victims were robbed of a small sum of cash about 2 a.m., the gunmen, along with a third man, fled in a blue Dodge van that was spotted and followed by police. At Harlem Avenue and Carey Street, two men got out. Two suspects were captured. The other drove away and was being sought. Recovered near the arrest scene were three large-caliber handguns. Charged with armed robbery and related offenses were Rodney Saunders, 24, of the 300 block of N. Hilton St. and Tavon Walker, 25, of the 300 block of Gwynn Ave.

Central District

Stolen vehicle: A white 2003 Acura with tags LVX 994 was stolen Monday in the 400 block of Water St.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Video games, a gold watch, several pieces of jewelry and a duffel bag were stolen Monday from a house in the 4600 block of Parkton St. by someone who entered after breaking a window.

Stolen vehicle: A gold 1998 Jeep Cherokee with tags M519704 was stolen Monday in the 100 block of S. Calverton Road.

Stolen vehicle: A red 1988 Oldsmobile with tags JDX 271 was stolen Monday in the 500 block of Allendale St.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Burglary/arrest: Three .22-caliber rifles, jewelry, clothing, coins, a camera, a radio and a duffel bag were stolen Monday from a house in the 1400 block of Taylor Ave. by someone who entered through a door. Acting on information from a witness, Officer Samuel Houston spotted a suspect at a bus stop at Loch Raven Boulevard and Taylor Avenue on Monday afternoon. A search of a duffel bag he was carrying turned up the stolen items. Arrested and charged with burglary was Melvin Lennor Carter, 46, of the 2100 block of St. Paul St. in Baltimore.

Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery: Police seek a gunman who robbed Blockbuster Video in the 11200 block of York Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 11:30 p.m. Sunday. The gunman forced two employees to destroy a surveillance camera and give him the tape.

Franklin Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A white, two-door 1994 Acura Integra with tags JWK 167 was stolen Monday in the 200 block of River Way Court.

Stolen vehicle: A green 1992 Lexus with tags LYM 002 was stolen Monday in the 8800 block of Allenswood Road.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: About $1,000 in cash and jewelry were stolen from a townhouse in the first block of Colony Hill Court between Dec. 2 and Sunday.
