Comcast appoints Looney government affairs chief Comcast Cable Communications Inc., located in White Marsh, appointed Sean M. Looney director of government affairs for Maryland. He supervises all activities pertaining to the telecommunications industry and its employees coming before the legislature.
Formerly with Verizon, Looney holds a master's in business administration from Rider University and is president of the Court Appointed Special Advocates of Maryland. He is active in the Business Friends of St. John's College and serves on the board of First Night Annapolis.

Vishwanath joins Campbell as media coordinator
The Campbell Group announced that Gana Vishwanath has joined the Inner Harbor-based ad agency as a media coordinator. She assists in the development of media objectives and strategies and provides analysis on competitive advertising, targets and media selection.
A Baltimore resident and graduate of the University of Missouri, she was with Young & Rubicam/Mediaedge in Chicago.

American Express Tax hires Keninitz, Calamita
American Express Tax & Business Services appointed Donald P. Keninitz and Paul Calamita as managing directors for the Timonium-based tax and accounting consulting service.
Keninitz is assigned to the firm's Mid-Atlantic regional office. He assists midsize business owners in developing strategic growth and profitability plans. A certified public accountant and certified business appraiser, he is a graduate of George Mason University.
Calamita is in the national business consulting services group. He assists clients in the financial, banking, health care and manufacturing industries. A certified public accountant, he holds an MBA from Quinnipiac University.

Rupert is pastry chef at Marriott Waterfront
Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel named Nicole Rupert pastry chef and bake shop manager for the Inner Harbor East tourist and convention business facility. The Arbutus resident is a home improvement, mountain biking and yoga enthusiast. Formerly with the Denver Southwest Marriott, she is a graduate of the International Academy of Culinary Arts in Pittsburgh.
