The win marked the 14th straight dating back to last season and was also the 300th victory for Hopkins coach Nancy Funk. She has a 300-139 career record with four conference titles and seven trips to the NCAA tournament.
Salisbury 70, Catholic 69: Freshman center Julia Waters hit a 15-foot jumper with three seconds remaining to lift the host Sea Gulls (3-2, 1-0 Capital Athletic Conference) over the Cardinals (3-3, 0-1).
Waters converted the game-winner in transition after the Sea Gulls rebounded a missed Catholic free throw with nine seconds remaining and pushed the ball down the court. Time expired before Catholic fired another shot.
St. Francis (N.Y.) 56, UMES 48: The Lady Hawks' Tiffany Winkfield recorded her fourth consecutive double double (17 points and 14 rebounds) in a losing effort in Brooklyn, N.Y.
