Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Robbery/shots fired: A fleeing robbery suspect fired at least two errant gunshots at two off-duty police officers, one from the city force and the other with the housing authority, who were pursuing him in the 4200 block of E. Fairmount Ave. about 5:45 p.m. yesterday after a holdup at Tobacco Barrel in the 3800 block of E. Lombard St. The officers did not return fire at the gunman, who escaped after a foot chase that lasted for several blocks.

Northwestern District

Robbery try/shooting: Keith Hall, 21, of the 2600 block of Park Heights Ave. was walking in the 4000 block of Park Heights Ave. about 2:25 a.m. Monday when a gunman stepped from a Honda Accord and demanded money. The gunman struck Hall in the face with the gun, then shot him in the neck before driving away. Police said the bullet passed through Hall's neck, and he was in fair condition at Sinai Hospital.

Central District

Robbery: Shannon Baker, 26, was in the 200 block of E. Pratt St. about 12:10 a.m. yesterday and walking toward an automated teller machine when another man struck him with a bottle and robbed him of $10.

Robbery: A woman, 50, was walking in the 300 block of N. Martin Luther King Blvd. about 4:20 p.m. Monday when she was attacked by a man who choked her and took $60.

Robbery: Police were seeking a man who knocked Peter Lalle, 51, to the ground in the first block of S. Howard St. about 7 p.m. Monday, taking his jacket and a wallet with $60.

Western District

Burglary: A 12-inch television, radio and kitchen clock -- all valued at $160 --were stolen Monday from a house in the 800 block of N. Fremont Ave.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Theft: Two handguns -- a Ruger 9 mm and Davis .380 -- were removed from the rafters of a house in the 1600 block of Weyburn Road between June 1999, when the owner hid them there, and Monday, when he discovered them missing.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A 1999 John Deere tractor valued at $68,000 was stolen from a construction site in the 2000 block of York Road between Friday and Monday.
