Audrey Eichorn Smith, 91, homemaker, city native

Audrey L. Eichorn Smith, a Baltimore native who moved to Florida in 1968, died of heart failure Wednesday at a hospital in Winter Haven, Fla. She was 91.

Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a Past Worthy Matron of Pythagoras Chapter No. 55, of the Order of the Eastern Star.

After moving to Florida, she remained active in the organization. She was a member of Mecca Court No. 98 of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America in Lakeland, Fla.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Auburndale, Fla.

Surviving are two daughters, Lorraine D. Kushto and Barbara Ann Smith, both of Winter Haven; and two sisters, Elva Pittillo and Roberta Crockett, both of Baltimore. Her husband, Clarence D. Smith, died in 1999.
