Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Arrests: Twin 15-year-old boys were arrested Sunday morning at North and Greenmount avenues by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on adult charges of first-degree murder. They are accused in the shooting of Quwanda Thornton, 20, of the 800 block of St. Dunstan's Road as she stood at a bus stop in the 5600 block of York Road on Sunday night. She died 30 minutes later at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Held without bail at Central Booking and Intake Center were Brian A. and Paul A. Wilson of the 5600 block of Govane Ave.

Southern District

Victim named: A man found stabbed to death and tied to a tree in woods off the 2200 block of Round Road in Cherry Hill on Nov. 25 was identified yesterday as Anthony Mark, 28, of the 700 block of W. Cross St. A motive was unknown and no arrest had been made, said homicide Detective Shawn McKnight.

FOR THE RECORD - A Police Blotter item in some editions yesterday had an incorrect date for a killing in the 5600 block of York Road, in which twin 15-year-olds were arrested on Sunday. The homicide occurred Nov. 26.

Arrest: Sylvester McLaughlin, 30, of the 3600 block of Campfield Road, who was charged in a warrant with first-degree murder in the shooting Oct. 24 of Timothy Roberson, 24, in the victim's home in the 2800 block of Maisel St., surrendered to police Friday outside Central Booking and Intake Center.

Eastern District

Cutting/robbery: A 17-year-old was involved in an altercation in the 2000 block of E. Lafayette Ave. on Sunday night when someone stabbed him and stole his compact disc player. He was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital

Central District

Robbery: Lamont Luck, 30, was walking in the 200 block of N. Liberty St. about 12:30 a.m. yesterday when he was robbed at gunpoint of a backpack, portable television and 30 CDs by two teen-age males riding bicycles.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Shooting/arrest: Several people were fighting outside Windsor Inn in the 7200 block of Windsor Mill Road about 2 a.m. Sunday when a man fired a shot, wounding a female bystander in the left arm. She was treated at Sinai Hospital. Arrested moments later, a few blocks away, was Dwyone Jackson, 23. He was charged with first-degree assault and freed on $75,000 bond.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: Police were seeking two males who attacked a man, 29, as he walked along Old Court Road near Courtleigh Drive about 10 p.m. Sunday, robbing him of $6 and a cell phone.

Wilkens Precinct

Robbery: Three males, one of whom implied he was armed with a handgun, robbed a man, 26, of a 12-pack of beer and three packs of cigarettes about 8 p.m. Sunday as the victim walked along South Symington Road near Frederick Road.
