Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Robbery: A man, 51, and a woman, 47, were unloading their car in the 200 block of Emory St. about 7 p.m. Saturday when two robbers, one with a handgun, robbed the man of his wallet containing $220. Before fleeing, one of the bandits turned to the gunman and said, "Just shoot him!" But no shot was fired as the robbers fled.

Theft: Someone broke into an off-duty Baltimore County police officer's 1998 Ford pickup truck parked on Gittings Street about 3 a.m. Saturday and stole the officer's personal Sig Sauer .40-caliber semiautomatic handgun. The weapon, valued at $700, had the serial number SP4615004.

Robbery: A man was about to feed a parking meter in the 100 block of Key Highway about 9:30 p.m. Saturday when a gunman robbed him of the keys to his 1995 BMW, $25 in cash, a gold watch valued at $900, a gold money clip and a cellular phone. The gunman fled on foot.

Bank robbery: Police were seeking a man who robbed M&T Bank in the 3400 block of Annapolis Road of an undisclosed sum about 4:20 p.m. Friday after giving a teller a holdup note.

Northern District

Burglary: Three televisions, five coats, and three pairs of shoes -- all valued at $2,950 -- were stolen Thursday from a house in the 300 block of E. University Parkway.

Eastern District

Church burglary: Two tape recorders and a television were stolen Saturday from Ebenezer Baptist Church Sunday School in the 300 block of E. 23rd St.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A gunman attempted to rob a Citgo station in the 5900 block of Belair Road about 7:45 p.m. Saturday, but was thwarted when the attendant closed the cashier window. The gunman then robbed a customer of $100.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Bank robbery: A man used a note saying he had a bomb in robbing Wachovia Bank in the 1700 block of Rolling Road at 10:45 a.m. Saturday. He escaped with an undisclosed sum.

Armed robbery: Two men approached a man waiting for a bus about 7 a.m. Saturday at Ambassador and Dogwood roads, asking what time it was and when the next bus was due. Then one of them pulled out a chrome-colored sawed-off shotgun and robbed the man of his shoes and $200.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Thieves broke into Padonia Park Club in the 12000 block of Jennifer Road on Saturday and removed eight cases and one keg of beer from a refrigerator.

Theft/officer injured: Officer Glenn Merritt was chasing a man who stole two toothbrushes and headache medicine from Rite Aid in the Ridgely Shopping Center on Saturday night and was crossing the nearby light rail tracks in pursuit when he was struck by a northbound train and thrown 10 feet into a ditch. The thief escaped, and Merritt was treated for minor injuries at Sinai Hospital.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry, cash and a DVD player -- all valued at $8,885 --were stolen Saturday from a house in the 4300 block of Ridge Road.
