In the spirit of the Messiah singalongs that sometimes crop up during the holiday season comes the Hippo's Nutcracker Dance-Along.

Participants can rent costumes and dance as the spirit moves them. In addition, there will be tables offering holiday crafts, gifts and decorations.

The event benefits HERO (Health Educa-tion Resource Organi-zation), which serves the needs of people living with HIV and AIDS.

The dance-along takes place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Hippo (1 W. Eager St.). Tickets are $30 in advance, $40 at the door. Visit www .hero-mcrc.org or call Rod Clark at 410-685-1180, Ext. 265, for more information.
