Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Arrest: Corey Newman, 26, of the 2500 block of Sidney Ave. was arrested over the weekend by the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a charge of attempted murder. He is accused in the shooting of Wayne White, 35, of the first block of Gorman Ave. on Nov. 10 in the 1800 block of Cherry Hill Road.

Theft: A warrant has been issued charging an employee of Central Parking System in the 1100 block of Russell St. with stealing $650 in receipts Sunday.

Southeastern District

Burglary: Someone entered two houses under renovation in the first block of N. Patterson Park Ave. over the weekend and stole a ceiling fan, lights, power tools, an air compressor and door handles - all valued at $1,800.

Central District

Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a knife robbed a woman, 20, of her cellular phone while she sat in her car in the 200 block of W. Lanvale St. about 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

Theft from vehicle: A laptop computer, 100 compact discs, a Palm Pilot, leather jacket and motion picture projector - all valued at $4,750 - were stolen Sunday from a 2003 Chrysler parked in a garage in the 100 block of W. Fayette St.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A woman, 31, was standing at a bus stop in the 4400 block of Harford Road about 9:30 p.m. Sunday when two men stole a Value City shopping bag she was carrying containing silverware and hair clippers - all valued at $27.

Northern District

Robbery: A woman, 24, was about to enter her apartment building in the 2200 block of N. Charles St. about 10 p.m. Sunday when a man armed with a knife robbed her of a small amount of change.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Robbery: Police were seeking two gunmen who robbed Lucky Dragon restaurant in the 1200 block of Eastern Blvd. of more than $500 about 11:30 p.m. Saturday. The men entered through a rear door by forcing inside an employee who was emptying trash.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A riding lawnmower, two push lawnmowers and a mulch kit - all valued at $4,700 - were stolen from a shed in the 15600 block of Carroll Road between Thursday and Saturday.-
