Dawn F. Thomsen of Columbia is new president of ACS

Dawn Fisk Thomsen of Columbia is the new president of the Association of Community Services of Howard County.

She is president and founder of DFT & Associates Inc., a management consulting firm that specializes in executive transition, planning and restructuring services for nonprofit organizations.

A member of the association's board since 2000, she recently served as chairwoman of its communications and strategic planning committees.

Columbia resident Carole MacPhee is the new vice president. She is executive director of Columbia House Corp., a nonprofit that works to provide affordable housing to low- or moderate-income families and others with special needs.

Donna Wells, the association's new secretary, is executive director of the Howard County Mental Health Authority. She lives in Baltimore County.

Allen Cornell, treasurer, is a vice president of the Michael Companies Inc., a commercial real estate firm in the Baltimore-Washington area. He lives in Woodbine.

Kelly Gallagher named firm's lease administrator

Kelly Gallagher has been hired as lease administrator at NAI KLNB Management, a Baltimore-based asset and property management firm serving companies in the Baltimore-Washington area.

She will work with the firm's accounting and property management team to prepare leases, process lease invoicing, prepare monthly reports and operating budgets, and will act as liaison between the company and tenants.

Gallagher was formerly lease administrator/administrative assistant for Perkins Commercial Management Co.

NAI KLNB administers more than 11 million square feet of retail, office and industrial space.
