Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Burglary: A DVD player, 60 DVD movies, a stereo receiver, cash, several pieces of jewelry and two pillowcases to carry the property -- all valued at $2,033 -- were stolen Saturday from an apartment in the 2500 block of Edgecombe Circle North by someone who removed security bars to enter through a window.

Western District

Robbery: Michael Grisson, 46, was walking in the 600 block of Cumberland St. about 10:30 p.m. Saturday when two men pushed him into an alley and robbed him of $40.

Robbery: Kirby Griffin, 33, was selling compact discs and DVDs in the 900 block of N. Monroe St. about 9 p.m. Saturday when two men, one armed with a length of wood, robbed him of $120.

Carjacking: A woman, 41, was parked at Mondawmin Mall about 6 p.m. Saturday and about to open the trunk of her 1991 Chevrolet Cavalier when two men, one armed with a handgun, stole her keys and took the car, with tags LYL 307.

Eastern District

Burglary: Tools of unknown value were stolen Saturday from a house in the 500 block of N. Haven St.

Southeastern District

Burglary: Two mountain bikes and a chess game were stolen Saturday from a house in the 2000 block of E. Baltimore St.

Baltimore County

North Point Precinct

Arrests: Three men were arrested Friday night and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of deadly weapons after two undercover officers spotted them smoking marijuana in a Chevrolet Cavalier parked in the 2800 block of North Point Road. In the car, police found marijuana, a Ruger .357-caliber handgun, a knife and marijuana paraphernalia. Names of those arrested were not available yesterday.

White Marsh Precinct

Arrest: After stopping a 1992 Ford sport utility vehicle early Saturday on southbound Interstate 95 near Rosedale for a seat belt violation, Officer Robert Jones of the Maryland Transportation Authority Police searched it and found a 20-inch machete, 133 grams of marijuana in glassine bags and a scale. Charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a deadly weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license was Michael Corbett, 39, of Logan, W.Va.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: A man doing yard work during the weekend in the first block of Left Wing Drive entered a house and stole several pieces of jewelry and a camera.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: A laptop computer valued at $250 was stolen Saturday from Marantha Child Day Care Center in the 3500 block of Ellen Road.
