On Thursday, November 13, 2003 ARCHER MILTON FROME, JR., 82, Past President grandfather was a founding member of Hamilton Federal when it began as a Savings & Loan in 1915. his father served as vice president and he, himself, in 1968, he was named executive vice president at Hamilton Federal and in July, 1977, became president. He was also named chairman of the board in 1982. Retired since the end of December, 1983, he served as chairman of the Frome: "He contributed greatly in many capacities to this institution for 55 years and will certainly be missed by his colleagues here at Hamilton K. Frome, daughters Donna K. Frome and Janice M. Hershner, and four son-in-law, James Hershner, Sr., serves as Sr. vice president of Hamilton Federal Bank, which has offices in Hamilton, Towson, Cockeysville and Overlea.
