King's College (Pa.) (7-3) at Johns Hopkins (9-1)

Series: Hopkins leads 2-0

Last week: Hopkins defeated McDaniel, 17-3. King's lost to Wilkes, 37-0.

Outlook: Hopkins, ranked No. 17 in Division III, is playing for the Eastern College Athletic Conference South Atlantic championship. The 16 Hopkins seniors, part of the winningest football class in school history (29-11 entering today's game), will try to achieve the school's first 10-win season. QB George Merrell has completed 103 of 193 passes for 1,347 yards and 16 TDs, and RB Adam Cook needs 16 yards to reach 1,000, carrying the ball 168 times for 984 yards and five TDs. King's College RB Richard Jackson has 1,517 yards and 16 TDs on 300 rushes, and QB David Hessler has completed 97 of 241 passes for 1,530 yards and 14 TDs. But he has thrown 12 interceptions.

Fordham (8-3) at Towson (6-5)

Series: Tied 3-3

Last week: Towson defeated Albany, 35-16. Fordham lost to Colgate, 14-3.

Outlook: Towson takes a 16-28 Patriot League record into today's farewell to the league, but it is 5-0 overall at home this year. Fordham, ranked No. 25 among Division I-AA schools, averages more than 400 yards a game total offense. Rams QB Kevin Eakin has completed 60.9 percent of his passes for 2,771 yards and 19 TDs this season. His favorite target is the No. 1 Division I-AA receiver in the nation, Javarus Dudley, who has 91 catches for 1,193 yards and 10 TDs. Towson counters with WR Jason Galloway, who has 47 receptions for 851 yards and five TDs, and RB Mikal Lundy, who has rushed for 745 yards and eight TDs.

Norfolk State (1-10) at Morgan State (5-5)

Site: Hughes Stadium

Time: 1 p.m.

Series: Norfolk State leads 9-8

Last week: Morgan State was idle. Norfolk State lost to Delaware State, 36-25.

Outlook: Morgan is in a good position to record a second straight winning season, as Norfolk State comes to town with just one victory, a 7-3 decision over Savannah State, which the Bears spanked, 45-14. Senior QB Lejominick Washington leads the Bears in rushing (575 yards, six TDs) and passing (56 of 146 for 823 yards, six TDs, six INTs). Bears QB Bradshaw Littlejohn has rushed for 410 yards on 67 carries (6.1 average), scored five TDs and completed 51 of 118 for 732 yards and five TDs. Norfolk State is led by the passing of QB Dontrell Leonard, who has completed 87 of 181 passes for 1,058 yards and seven TDs. The Spartans also count on sophomore RB Terrell Johnson, who has rushed for 655 yards and four TDs. Defensively, the Spartans are fueled by LB Kevin Talley, who has 181 tackles.
