Tarabolous' 3 lead Hopkins to 6-0 rout

Johns Hopkins senior Chad Tarabolous scored three times and had an assist to help the host Blue Jays beat McDaniel, 6-0, yesterday to win the Eastern College Athletic Conference Mid-Atlantic men's soccer title.

The Blue Jays scored five times in dominating the first half.

Junior forward Doug Pollack opened the scoring eight minutes into the game. Tarabolous then took over, scoring in the 11th, 27th, and 34th minutes and assisting on Adam Simon's goal in the 30th minute.

In capturing the title, Johns Hopkins (18-3-1) beat McDaniel (15-8-1) for the third time this season, recorded its 14th shutout and tied a school record for wins.
