Brother Daniel A. Montermarano

On November 11, 2003, BROTHER DANIEL A. MONTERMARANO O. SS.T. Enlisted in the US Army, May 1948 and served in the US Military Advisory Group to the Republic of Korea. He was raised to the level of Sergeant while serving in Korea, 1949-1951. He entered the order of the Most Holy Trinity in 1977 and made his solemn religious profession on October 4, 1986. He served as the Catholic Hospital Chaplain at Good Samaritan Hospital, Loch Raven Blvd., Baltimore, from 1987 to his retirement, November, 2001. Beloved son of the late Anthony and Genevieve Montermarano; loving brother of Andrew and his wife Florence, Anthony and his wife Patricia and Frank Montermarano and his wife Kathleen, Faye Hardej, Mary Pederson and her husband Norman and the late Joseph, Roy and Tom Montermarano. Also survived by 27 nieces and nephews. The Trinitarians will receive guests on Thursday, 7 to 9 P.M., with a Vigil at 8 P.M., in the Chapel of the Holy Trinity Monastery, 8400 Park Heights Avenue, Pikesville, with refreshments to follow (for directions call 410-486-5171). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel on Friday, November 14, at 11:30 A.M. Interment, the adjoining cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the Monastery.
