COMING UP

Want to see a Broadway star, but can't quite make it to the Great White Way? On Sunday, check out "The Art of Entertaining: Musical Classica With Michael Feinstein and Linda Eder" at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.

The event features accomplished pianist Feinstein and Eder, a world-renowned vocalist whose Broadway appearances include Jekyll and Hyde.

"The Art of Entertaining" takes place Sunday night at 7 at the Meyerhoff, 1212 Cathedral St. Tickets are $45-$65, with proceeds benefiting CHIMES services, which supports employment for people with barriers to independent living. Call 410-783-8000 for tickets or more information.

The songs of Harry Chapin - including "Taxi," Cats in the Cradle," "Mr. Tanner" and "Circle" - are at the center of a performance at the Gordon Center for Performing Arts tonight at 7:30.

Chapin's original band and family members Tom Chapin, Steve Chapin, Jim Chapin, Jen Chapin, Abigail Chapin, Lily Chapin, Jessica Craven, Stephen Crump and friends: Big John Wallace, Howard Fields, Michael Mark, Jon Cobert, Chris Cheek and Jamie Fox will take the stage for "Harry Chapin: A Celebration in Song."
