Do-not-call fraud: The Federal Trade Commission cautions seniors that the commission does not call people to have their names put on a "do-not-call list." People should never give personal information such as Social Security numbers, bank account numbers or personal identification numbers to anyone they do not know and trust. To request a pamphlet on this matter: 301-588-6380.

Constituent assistance: Anne Irby, constituent liaison for Rep. Benjamin L. Cardin, meets with the public from 11 a.m. to noon the first Thursday of every month at O'Malley Senior Center to help constituents deal with federal agencies and to discuss concerns. 410-222-6227.
