Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Arrest: Henry Davis, 43, was arrested Tuesday at his home in the 700 block of N. Curley St. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a charge of attempted murder. He is accused in the shooting Sunday of Donta Johnson, 21, near the victim's home a block away.

Shooting/arrest: Dontaz L. Wilson, 20, was walking in the 6600 block of Hartwait Ave. about 8:50 p.m. Tuesday when a man with whom he had argued rode up on a bicycle and shot him twice in the left wrist and once in the left arm, police said. Wilson was treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Arrested by Baltimore County police and charged with attempted murder was Duwand Lee Baker, 27, of the 7200 block of Dunglen Court, Dundalk.

Burglary: Video games, a DVD player, 10 DVDs and a compact disc player were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3100 block of Dillon St.

Northeastern District

Shooting: A man standing outside a carryout in the 1400 block of E. Cold Spring Lane was shot in the back about 6:40 p.m. yesterday. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Southern District

Theft: A woman, 76, was sitting on the front steps of her house in the 400 block of E. Cross St. on Tuesday afternoon when a man stole her purse containing more than $200, keys, a checkbook and credit cards.

Northern District

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 300 block of St. Dunstans Road on Tuesday and stole a telephone, videocassette recorder, DVD player and compact disc player.

Burglary: Gold jewelry, a gold watch and a CD player - all valued at $1,150 - were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 500 block of Hawthorne Road.

Southwestern District

Assault: Police were seeking a woman who entered Lot Stores in the 2400 block of Frederick Ave. about 2 p.m. Tuesday and struck a female cashier with a box. The woman drove away in a car. The cashier was not injured.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Power tools valued at $300 were stolen Tuesday from a garage in the 1100 block of Chesaco Ave.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 2600 block of Wendover Road through a side window Tuesday and stole a DVD player and jewelry.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Stereo equipment, a drill and a vacuum cleaner were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 100 block of Main St.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Someone broke into a room at Beltway Motel in the 3600 block of Washington Blvd. on Tuesday and stole two pairs of jeans.
