Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Shooting: A gunman shot a 21-year-old woman five times as she stepped from a car in the 1900 block of Woodbourne Ave. about 2:30 a.m. Monday. She was hit three times in the left leg and twice in the right arm.

Eastern District

Burglary: Clothing, 30 cans of tuna, 40 bars of soap, 40 cartons of cigarettes, medication and $300 were stolen during the weekend from Sol's Grocery in the 500 block of Old Town Mall.

Central District

Theft/arrest: After his bicycle was stolen from the 1300 block of N. Charles St. on Monday afternoon, the owner chased the thief nearly half a mile and caught him on Falls Road. Charged with theft was Walter Spencer, 21, of the 300 block of W. 27th St.

Western District

Assault: Police were seeking a woman who forcibly entered a house in the 1800 block of Walbrook Ave. on Sunday evening and assaulted a woman, 55, with a cordless telephone after demanding information about a man in the area. The victim was treated at Bon Secours Hospital for face, head and hand injuries.

Northern District

Robbery: Jason Torres, 25, was about to deposit $185 in an automated teller machine in the 5600 block of The Alameda about midnight Sunday when an unarmed man robbed him of the cash.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Shooting/arrest: Frank Wright, 60, was raking leaves about 4:20 p.m. Monday outside his house in the 3100 block of Minna Court when a longtime neighbor fired three shots at him, all of which missed. Police said the shooting stemmed from Wright parking his car in front of the neighbor's home. Lonzo Washington, 67, was arrested outside his home in the 7100 block of Minna Road and was charged with attempted murder, reckless endangerment and a handgun violation. Police also seized a handgun.

Essex Precinct

Robbery: A man assaulted a 19-year-old woman in the 1400 block of Martin Blvd. about 1 a.m. Monday and robbed her of $1,000 in money orders.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Two laptop computers, a radio and soft drinks were stolen Monday from a room at Halsted Academy in the 1100 block of Halsted Road.
