Hart, Patricia (pat) Fetcho

On Thursday, October 30, 2003, PATRICIA (Pat) FETCHO HART, of Wachesaw Plantation died at the home of her daughter in Essex, MA. Pat Hart was born on October 24, 1932 in Baltimore, MD. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Neil Fetcho. Mrs. Hart was educated at Western Maryland University and prior to being employed in her husband's insurance business, she taught school for 12 years at Anne Arundel County School, MD. Before moving to Murrells Inlet, Pat Hart lived in Ellicott City, MD for 30 years. While there, she was a member of the Mt. Hebron Presbyterian Church in Ellicott City, MD. She and her recently deceased husband, Walter, were also members of Forest Hill Swim and Tennis Club in Ellicott City, Rolling Road Golf Club, Catonsville, MD and Baltimore Country Club. Upon retirement, the Harts moved to Wachesaw Plantation in Murrells Inlet. The couple was very popular and active there. She was a member of Belin United Methodist Church, Murrells Inlet and the Women's Golf Association at Wachesaw. Pat Hart has acted as volunteer reading tutor at St. James Shool at also a private reading tutor while living in the area. She is mourned by many close friends and acquaintances in Murrells Inlet. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Hart Townsend, son-in-law Peter Townsend and two grandsons, Henry and Lisle of Boston. She is also survived by her sister, Janet Cook, and two nieces. Her brother, Darwin Fetcho, predeceased her. A Memorial Service will be held at Belin United Methodist Church on Friday, November 14 at 11 A.M.
