Matchup: Blast (2-2) at Philadelphia KiXX (2-1)

Site: Wachovia Spectrum, Philadelphia

When: 7:05

Radio: WCBM (680 AM)

Outlook: With a win tonight in Philly, the Blast can avenge its 5-3 opening-season loss to the KiXX and get over the .500 mark for the first time this season. But first things first, and that's getting the ball past All-Star goalkeeper Peter Pappas, who was the difference with 20 saves in the first meeting. For the Blast, backup keeper Karim Mounbam will likely start a second straight game with starter Scott Hileman still recovering from a sprained shoulder. Mounbam was solid in his debut last Friday - a 3-2 win over the Dallas Sidekicks - with six saves. The Blast found success in Philadelphia in the second half of last season to ignite its Major Indoor Soccer League championship run, including an 8-6 upset win in the Eastern Conference final on a game-winning goal from midfielder Allen Eller. Denison Cabral and David Bascome lead the Blast with six points apiece.
